Chuck Jones Red Dot Auction

I’m thrilled and honored to announce that I’ve been asked to provide a piece of artwork for an upcoming charity auction at the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity.

Called the “Red Dot Auction”, it’s the center’s 2011 Spring fundraiser, and will feature 50 artists. Each artist receives a 10″x10″ stretched canvas, and submits his/her work with only signatures on the back. Bidding on each piece starts at $100, and nobody knows who the artist is until the auction is over.

According to ChuckJones.com, “You may go home with a world-famous artist’s work or one of an emerging artist”. I’d like to think I’m somewhere in the middle :)

I won’t be able to post the actual artwork until after the auction, but I’ll be updating as things develop.

Andrew, It’s an honor that you have accepted our invitation to provide one of your inspired works for the Red Dot Auction in May. We truly expect that the attendees will have such a treat enjoying the entire presentation as well as taking one or more of them home to enjoy for a lifetime!
